Goodby Prinsendam

The sister ships Prinsendam and Rotterdam (both from the HAL) were moored together today at PTA. The Prinsendam for the last time because it leaves the waterways and returns under a different name. The entire crew of the Prinsendam said goodbye to the last passengers, most of them regular guests. The Prinsendam will go into dry dock with crew only and will return again in August under the name MS Amera sailing for Phoenix Reisen. The maiden call in Amsterdam is scheduled for August 20, 2019. With honking back and forth from Rotterdam to Prinsendam, we said goodbye. This was accompanied by honorary water through the Port of Amsterdam. A tradition in cruise shipping!
